Comments: The final image is not at all what I envisioned or planned when I saw the scene. The beauty of digital is that you can change plans after the shot much more easily than with film. Once I decided on the cropping the rest came along quite easily. The brightness of the boats let me use a Diffuse Glow to make them stand out. With the boats on their own layer I could re-color and darken the water. The text was added later on as I got more comfortable with the image and started to think about a possible context of the scene.
